The Reading of the Twelve Passion Gospels on Thursday evening, set the tonality for the ensuing days. Vespers of Great & Holy Friday and Entombment of our Lord began at 3:pm (the ninth hour).

Many parishioners availed themselves to the Sacrament of Holy Confession after Vespers, and prior to Matins of Holy Saturday on Friday evening. Soup, fruit, and a vegetable platter was shared between parishioners between the two services Friday.  
 
At 8:00am Saturday, Vespers, the 15 Old Testament Readings, and Divine Liturgy of St Basil the Great was celebrated.
