Wonders of the Small Church

The small church has incredible importance and value, although it may not carry the pomp of churches in Europe and elsewhere. I have one particular small church in mind: ours.

Plans for Holy Trinity's Centennial Celebration have been finalized and our small community works diligently and with love toward making it a memorable occasion.

A core project team, led by Bob Dolan, meets on a bi-weekly basis to review the plan and see that tasks are being addressed in a timely manner. The group is working on various items including: creating a commemorative booklet as well as a commemorative bookmark, soliciting advertisements, banquet planning, interior and exterior beautification efforts, etc.

Most notably three very significant upgrades are possible due to the incredible generosity of members of the Zlotnick and Sadow families. Through their financial support Holy Trinity will soon have the entire church interior painted and a new, long awaited sound system installed. Additionally Holy Trinity will receive a new, hand-crafted altar table designed and built by John Matcheson.

Much work remains ahead but careful planning and consistent effort will ensure that Holy Trinity will be ready for the Centennial Celebration in October 2016.
