Gus Victor Giokas (born: 6.17.2014) entered into the saving Orthodox faith on Sunday, July 27, 2014, during a Baptismal Liturgy at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church through the Sacraments of Baptism, Chrismation, and the Holy Eucharist. Gus is the first child of Reader John (Rob) Giokas and his wife, Kate Maupin. Gus' sponsors were Reader Paul Giokas and Rob's aunt, Eugenia ("Ginny") LaPlame. Also in attendance were paternal grandparents, Dr George & Marie Giokas, along with Gus' uncle, David Giokas, whose 25th birthday was July 27. It was a joyous day at Holy Trinity Church.
