Mr. Eddie Ryan, a graduate school student at the University of Connecticut, made a presentation on the Apostle Philip on November 11, 2012.as part of Holy Trinity's continuing Adult Education Series in which parishioners are invited to make a presentation on a saint of their choice. The presentations are scheduled monthly.
 
The presentations are always well attended, and are approximately 15 minutes in length. There were 20 parishioners who stayed this morning to hear Eddie speak on the Apostle Philip.
 
The Apostle Philip is commemorated on November 14, one day prior to the beginning of the Advent Fast. As such, the 40 days of preparation for the Nativity of our Lord is also known as Philip's Fast.
